February 11-16, 1971 / Diessen trip: 3 weeks after my Paris trip, I grabbed my Eurail pass and headed to southern Germany for the 2nd time. I did stop in Munich but only stayed one night. That's where I met my cousin Diane, who worked in the city as a medical technologist for an American histologist. Here's the view on of my pension window. It felt good being back in Germany.
February 11-16, 1971 / Diessen trip: Another shot in Munich. I believe the building on the right is the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady). A lot of these streets in Munich were under construction for an underground transportation system that would service the 1972 Olympics.
