Sky and Weather Gallery

Tucson. For a city with sunny skies some 300 days a year, it’s no slouch when it comes to spectacular weather images … if you’re in the right place at the right time like I have been fortunate enough to be. Beginning with the sun blazing above a menacing monsoon downpour. I captured a stunning lightening strike, a wild dust devil bearing down on a small community, the full moon rising behind a mountain range, and another high in the sky surrounded by dramatic clouds. There are several forceful downpours, rare pools of water reflecting eye-catching skies, vivid rainbows, and every type of captivating cloud formation we get down here.
