Rome Center Weekend Trips: 1970/71 - James F Palka

February 11-16, 1971 / Diessen trip: Diane's friends enjoying a Sunday tradition called “breakfast beer” right at the inn where I was staying. The night before, with Klaus performing his duties as the Diessen “King of Fashing,” we all attended a masquerade party in an industrial building that included a two lane bowling alley. Once things got started, I grazed at a sizable buffet table, drank some strong local brew, and conversed with a young Australian woman named Roslyn Bailly.
